If you're here, chances are you'll be attending LeakyCon 2012! (If not, maybe next year?)

First and foremost, I would like to clearify that this blog is not the official LeakyCon Tumblr, and that I am just an attendee trying to help others out with as much as I can from my past experience at LeakyCon 2011.

The entire purpose of this blog is for Tumblr Users attending LeakyCon to have a space to meet one another, make friends and ask (me) questions!

There's a big list of people who are attending, to add your name to this list, just send me a message with your 1. Name, 2. Type of registration and 3. Your URL!

If LeakyCon 2012 is your first con, this blog might be super helpful for you! I made a list of items that you should think about bringing, as well as how to best organize your time so you can participate in all the things LeakyCon has to offer.

I'm a newbie to LeakyCon. I'm just wondering exactly what you do there? I mean, I get that it's a convention, but... what EXACTLY do you do? Do the Starkids perform? What is the Charity Ball? etc, etc...

There’s a lot to do. Signings to meet special guests, watch performances and panels, participate in activities (I believe they had some type of Quidditch game?) You can volunteer to help out, there’s a merch room to buy things. 

But yes, Starkids perform, last year they sang some of their music and then had a Q&A after. But I believe this year they have a Starkid track, which is probably going to include multiple performances and panels. But I can’t say what they’ll include for sure, that information isn’t out yet.

The Charity Ball is basically a dance, you can wear whatever you want and you don’t need a date to attend. It feels more like a large concert then a “ball” in my opinion.
