It’s possible, although I always thought hotel pools couldn’t be open unless they had a lifeguard on duty. If that were the case, they’d have to hire somebody to stay over time to watch us. If we don’t need a lifeguard, I don’t see why they could keep it open a bit longer.

Looking for one or two roommates for LeakyCon!
Hello! My friend Toni and I are looking for two people to stay in our hotel room with us for LeakyCon this August. We’d prefer it to be two people who are friends, because they’d have to share a bed (but hey if there are two of you willing to share a bed with someone you don’t know then go for it!).
We currently have a reservation for one room with two queen beds from Wednesday the 8th until Sunday the 12th at the Chicago Essex Inn, a really nice hotel literally across the street from the Chicago Hilton where the con is being held.
For all four nights, the price is a total of $132 per person, but we can adjust the price accordingly if you will be arriving after Wednesday or leaving before Sunday (let us know).
Also, if you’re just a single person looking for a bed and are willing to pay $200(once again, price can be adjusted if you’re arriving later than Wednesday) instead, you can have the second queen bed all to yourself.
Anyone who decides to room with us will receive all the hotel information in a forwarded email and will have to send me $30 per person via PayPal as a ~deposit~ and the rest can be paid when we meet up in August. If deposit via PayPal is not possible, I’m sure we can just talk something out.

Great idea! Late night pool party on the first night there could be fun if there’s nothing planned. (and if the pool stays open late)
